By booking a walk with Osaka Xplore LLC, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't book. It's that simple. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.
Osaka Xplore LLC is a registered limited liability company in Philadelphia, PA. We operate cultural walking tours in Osaka, Japan under Japanese travel license 大阪府知事登録旅行業 第2-13471号.
We provide guided walking tours through neighborhoods of Osaka, Japan. Our walks are cultural experiences — we show you the city, its food, its people, and its history. We do not sell food, beverages, or alcohol. Any food or drink consumed during the walk is purchased directly by you from third-party vendors.
We do not operate bars, restaurants, or food establishments. We do not guarantee entry to any private establishment. We do not sell alcohol and do not include alcohol in our pricing. Some stops on our routes may serve alcohol, which you may purchase at your own discretion and expense.
Route content, stops, and timing may vary based on weather, vendor availability, and local conditions. We reserve the right to modify routes as needed.
You can book by emailing yo@osakaxplore.com or through our contact form. We require a minimum 3 days advance notice. All bookings are subject to availability.
Payment can be made on arrival (cash in JPY) or online via bank transfer. We do not accept credit cards in person — many of the places we visit don't take cards either, so bring cash.
Prices are listed in Japanese Yen (JPY) per person. Prices include the guide service and a printed route map. Prices do not include food, drinks, transport, or any purchases you make during the walk.
A booking is confirmed only after we send you a confirmation email. If you don't receive confirmation within 24 hours, contact us again.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled walk for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are not refundable.
If we cancel due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost.
No-shows (not showing up at the meeting point within 15 minutes of the start time) are not eligible for refund.
You must be in reasonable physical condition to walk 3-5 kilometers over 2-3 hours. Our walks involve standing, walking on uneven surfaces, stairs, and crowded areas.
You are responsible for your own safety and belongings. Keep valuables secure. Be aware of your surroundings. Follow the guide's instructions regarding traffic and safety.
Excessive intoxication is not tolerated. If a participant is visibly intoxicated at the start of a walk or becomes disruptive due to alcohol consumption, the guide may remove them from the walk without refund.
Osaka Xplore LLC and its guides act as cultural facilitators. We are not liable for injuries, illnesses, lost property, or damages that occur during the walk, except in cases of gross negligence.
We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or contents of food or beverages purchased from third-party vendors during the walk. Eat and drink at your own risk.
We are not responsible for allergic reactions. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, inform us in advance. Osaka street food is prepared in shared kitchens with common fryers and broths — cross-contamination is likely.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. We do not provide travel insurance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Philadelphia County, PA.
